Kate Sharp Carshop Nottingham kate.r.sharp Car wrap illustrator Young Creative Awards

Kate was commissioned twice to design and illustrate wraps for courtesy cars. Carshop Nottingham were the headline sponsors of the Young Creative Awards Nottingham 2021/2022.

Kate won the Young Creative Awards in the Graphic Design category (age 19-24) in 2020 with her self published children's book 'Lions Hate Pigeons'. As a previous winner, Kate was selected for this project because the CarShop loved her Nottingham postcode series. The brief was to create a wrap with the Carshop logo colours that featured some of Nottingham's landmarks.

Landmarks that a you'll find on the first car are:

Council building, Lion statues from market square, Wollaton Hall (with a little bat as a reference to Batman), Nottingham Contemporary, Nottingham castle, Theatre Royal, Nottingham station, Trent bridge, Robin Hood statue and the Trent building at the University of Nottingham.
